Formed in 1971 by ex Box Tops singer Alex Chilton, they shone brightly for a brief 3 year period, during which they recorded 2 albums  #1 Record & Radio City.

Their legacy can be seen in a long list of admirers ranging from Cheap Trick to Teenage Fanclub, REM, Wilco, The Replacements, the list goes on.
